Websites & automation for local business
I build and run websites for small local businesses — the kind where you can text me on a Tuesday about a price change and it's live before you close. No agency queue, no ticket system, and no expensive rebuild every time you want a new photo on the front page.
Services
Start with the website. Add the automation once you can see where your week is actually going.
A custom site built around how your business actually works — not a template with your logo dropped into it.
I keep it online, fast, backed up and secure. You never touch a control panel or renew a certificate.
This is the whole point. Call, text or email a change and it gets done — usually the same day, with no change-order paperwork.
The repetitive things you do by hand every week, handled in the background instead.
Used where it genuinely saves hours — not bolted on so I can put it in a brochure.
Want this running on a computer you own, instead of renting it from someone? I set that up too — your files never leave the building. Ask me about it.
A site nobody can find is a brochure in a drawer.
Example
A command center for a real estate business that does everything in-house: deals, bids, work orders, subcontractors, the build schedule, permits and paperwork — on one screen instead of six.
It's a real working site, not a picture of one. Open it and rank the bids: the cheapest one doesn't win, and it shows you why. Every section, every number, the wording — all of it is the kind of thing you'd tell me to change, and I'd change it.
Process
No discovery phase, no forty-page proposal. We talk, I build, you tell me what's wrong, I fix it.
Twenty minutes about what you sell, who walks in the door, and what you're tired of doing by hand. Free, no obligation.
Within about a week you get a real, working site to click through — not a mockup and not a slide deck.
Tell me everything you'd change: wording, colors, prices, whole sections. Revisions are expected, not billed.
Domain, hosting, SSL, Google — I handle the plumbing. After that you just call me whenever something needs to change.
Questions
Usually one of three reasons: it's slow on a phone, nobody can find it on Google, or you can't get anyone to change it. If none of those are true, keep it — I'll tell you that for free.
You own it. The domain goes in your name, and if you ever leave you take the site files with you. I don't hold anything hostage.
Then I'll build it so you can, and sit with you until you're comfortable. Most owners would rather just call — but that's your call, not mine.
Small changes — a price, a photo, holiday hours — same day, usually within a couple of hours. New sections or features take a few days. You'll always get a straight answer on timing before I start.
Specific, boring, useful things: a chat box that answers your ten most-asked questions after hours, drafts of descriptions for new inventory, a summary of the week's inquiries. Not a robot pretending to be you.
Because you'd be one of my first local clients and I'd rather have the work and the reference than squeeze the first invoice. The rate you start on is the rate you keep — it doesn't jump on you in six months.
Because you get me. The same person on the phone, on the build and on the fix. I work with a small number of local businesses on purpose.
Get in touch
Twenty minutes, no pitch deck, no obligation. Tell me what you sell and what's eating your week, and I'll tell you honestly whether a website or some automation would actually help.
